At speed, though, things got better. The Morgan is charming and fun. The styling of the New Roadster 3.7 isn’t all that different from what we’ve gotten accustomed to from Morgan.

I was invited down to Morgan Motors’ factory, based in beautiful Malvern, Worcestershire.

The car is built by real craftsmen and portrays great character and charisma. The Roadster is powered by a 3.0-liter 24-valve V-6 producing 225 bhp at 6200 rpm, 200 lb.-ft. of torque at 5400 and, more important for proper feel, adequate torque throughout its rev range. These cars hold their values exceptionally well, and this is down to their timeless nature as well as the everlasting demand for them. That means traditional looks and traditional building techniques, with some modern touches thrown in for good measure. This means you have to lean to the left in order to check your speed.
